Our school district does full day kindergarten and since Aaron will be starting next year (yikes, where did time go?!) I felt it was a really good idea for him to get into a pre-k program because first of all.... since baby bro has come into the picture he's still facing some jealousy issues and he won't cooperate when I take him to church, or any of the MOPS (mommy groups) and it has become really frustrating having to keep him with me when I know he is capable of behaving.
Anyways, it went really well. He had a few issues, but other than that I think he will continue to do great! He didn't want to leave, which was a good sign ;-)
