Dad J gave us 2 strings of big lights which I put up on the porch and (Mike tried to put them up but he failed. It pretty much looked like a redneck version of a chandelier. His decorative skills are pretty crappy haha!) and over the kitchen and entrance/living room.
It looks pretty awesome (well, to me at least)
I wish I could keep them up all year!! ...[says the 21 yr old Christmas season obsessed girl]
We leave for Florida Thursday nigh, I believe and I think We'll be home on or around the 26th. Pretty exciting! I get to see all of my brother & sister in laws as well as my nieces and nephew! :-):-)

I love Thanksgiving and Christmas, too. The day after Thanksgiving the tree goes up and stays up until New Year's first weekend. It's great to see your lights up. Kick back with a hot cup of something each night while enjoying the lights. Ahhhh, doesn't it make you feel good?!
The decorations look great!!! I love Christmas too...when we were moving to GA we thought we had everything on the truck, but just as they were getting ready to shut the doors the boys remembered that nothing had come out of the attic. This caused a long round of expletives, as Rich and my friends husband, Pope, realized just how much I love to decorate for the holidays...I probably have 15 large bins of decorations, all which had to be added to the truck! I could see Rich wanted to leave most of it in the attic, but he knew better than to even ask!!! Anything besides that! Can't wait to see you guys!
