Funny story

Well on first off, we put in an offer on the house we've been saving for!
It is a blessing that my dad is a real estate agent because it makes everything so much more simple.
We actually had to go to Prudential and have an agent show us the house because my Dad is only an agent with Monroe County or something like that so anyways, we fell in love with it, and the lady started getting pushy about us signing on with her. Right from the get-go we firmly said we are not signing on with her we just wanted to see the place.
Well, she keeps calling throughout the past few months and basically giving us information about the place. And the last time I answered a call from her I said the house is way over priced and we're not paying 150 for it. She asked what I thought it was worth... I said no more than 110 and we hang up. She calls later and says the guy is willing to take a huge loss. (well we know that the house is really worth 90k, but people always want to take your money.)
Michael and I finally put an offer in and my dad calls the guy who has the listing and if it isn't under contract in 30 days, it goes into auction so he told the guy we were interested and the guy LIED to my dad and said it was already under contract.
Well it turns out mike and i are the only ones who've ever looked at it and the only ones who've put an offer on it haha. So we're making offers against ourselves?!
We are waiting for him to counter the offer so we can start negotiating. We will know more by Friday hopefully.



Anyway, just keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We know that if it's meant to be ours it will work out!



Anyone know of any good mortgage companies??
