Alas, it was too good to be true

So we make an offer, the power of attorney who represents them countered it for 10 grand more than we wanted to pay for it.

So we offered again with a much better deal that would help us both since the guy needed to sell the place before November. He contacted the people in Europe and they said no and decided they wanted to take it to auction so they could get a better price for it.

Now I'm guessing they are as dumb as rocks because there's absolutely no way they'll get even close to what we offered them.

So that's where we are now.

I guess that means God knew something we didn't know about the place and He has something better in mind.
I do hope its soon though, we can't go through another cold winter again.

so cute! You could always buy the house at auction - do they do it on the courthouse steps? Love the shirt, too...we should buy one for Andrew, since he started it all!!!

Sorry things didn't work out with the house , I am sure something better is out there for you . Just like Bec and Dan , I hear they are expecting to have the closing on the second house around the 16th . When it's meant to be it'll happen for you guys . Wishing you all the best !
